Poetry: The Stork: Retold

I've finally
figured out
how it all
went down
that calculated
copulation
scientific
lessons
in the dark

you with
those
restless legs
adept at
seducing men
into your
craving, he,
sweating
glasses sliding
down his nose
before setting
them aside
mind drifting
to the dirt
beneath his
pants there
on the floor

between your
corruption of
the innocent
Nerd candies
and tongue tricks,
you two
decided
to tear
each other
open, ripped
in half and
press me
between
infusing my
likeness
with those
dark spaces
heady vices
and idiosyncrasies

with a few
unqualified
thrusts you
catapulted me
into being
a jagged
conglomeration
of chaos.
afterward
you lay parallel
one pretty
sarcophagus
one blossoming
weed
breathing
uncertainty
into the
universe
accepting no
responsibility
for the
mutation
you left
behind
